A Message from Kym Shreeve (Acting CEO)
One of the requirements under the Emergency Management Directive includes the implementation of QR codes and paper-based sign-in options across our sites and the introduction of the mandatory wearing of masks in all care delivery spaces.
It is also a requirement under the Directive that the type of masks worn are disposable surgical masks only.
For us at Minda, this means that staff, visitors and contractors to Minda business locations will be required to wear masks in areas where there is client contact and we ask that you follow the signage around mask wearing requirements posted at our sites, along with the QR code/sign in process for each relevant facility/apartment/house (you can see the mask poster attached).
STUDENTS are required to wear masks in the designated areas, and this includes in all SIL houses and care delivery spaces AND training delivery sites (eg. Rogerson Building). Please remember, you are required to wear disposable surgical masks in these spaces as part of the State Government Directive.
Remember also that good hand hygiene, cough and sneeze etiquette and social distancing are key to helping to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Thank you for your support as we strive to keep our clients and you, our staff safe during these challenging times – it is very much appreciated!
