National Disability Standards

Promote and drive a consistent approach to improving the quality of services for people with disability, by undertaking a Disability Standards – Disability Awareness course.

The National Standards for Disability Services were introduced in December 2013, following consultation with people with disability, their families and service providers.

The updated standards focus on rights and outcomes for people with disability and our 90 minute course will give you an overview of each of the standards and examples of practical application of the standards in the workplace.

The National Standards for Disability Services are standards against which agencies providing a service to people with disability can be judged; with this course you can gauge whether the service you are providing is up to standard and how you can apply the standards to everyday work practices.
