Online theory and practical where you will demonstrate and practice manual handling techniques that include use of lifter conducted on site. Please ensure you read the study guide at the bottom of this page for instructions on completing this course.
This course is held in the Skills Lab in the Rogerson Building, Brighton Campus.

Registration for this course includes online theory which must be competed before attending the practical component. Don't forget to take a screen shot the final page of online training and take with you to the training as proof of completion. 

Please observe Minda's Dress Code Procedure during training sessions.

For the sake of safety and comfort, it is imperative to wear proper, closed-toe footwear such as sneakers or work shoes. Avoid wearing sandals, thongs or slippers.

If you have any pre-existing injuries or are currently pregnant, kindly inform the trainers beforehand so that appropriate precautions can be taken to ensure your well-being during the training activities

  • Ensure you click EXIT COURSE on final slide otherwise your training will not complete properly.
  • Bring printed proof of completion or have MySALC on your phone to show to trainer
  • If you have not completed online theory you cannot attend the practical component
