We are proud to announce the successful completion of SALC’s inaugural group of AHC30716 Certificate III Horticulture students, who began their journey 18 months ago. Under the guidance of trainer Alan Phillips, this achievement stands as a testament to the hard work and dedication demonstrated by both Alan and his students.

The student group was diverse, consisting of Envirocare employees, individuals from the general community, and even some other members of Minda's staff. Together, they formed a dynamic learning community that fostered collaboration and mutual growth.

Several of the participants from this Cert III Horticulture program were graduates from SALC’s first Certificate II Horticulture program in 2019, namely Ian McMahon, Luke Dunaway Benson and James Rault. Joshua Von Stanke also took part in the pilot VET in Schools Cert II Horticulture program in 2020. It’s great to see their learning journey at SALC continue over this time!

At the end-of-course wrap-up party on 4th July, we had the pleasure of celebrating the accomplishments with our students. Tim and Amanda also introduced their new baby girl, Willow, who joined the celebration.

SALC (Minda Inc. RTO code 4881) is one of only four RTOs in Adelaide offering Horticulture training. If you or anyone you know is interested in studying Horticulture with SALC, the next group will commence their training in early 2024, with a duration of 12 months.
