SALC is committed to providing assessment processes that are valid, reliable, flexible and fair. During your course SALC trainers and assessors will outline all assessment requirements for each stage of your training.
Where you are undertaking a staged training course that has prerequisite requirements, all assessments must be successfully completed prior to the commencement of the next stage of your training. Failure to complete before the next stage may result in you not being able to attend that training.
Not satisfied with your assessment?
If you undertake an assessment conducted by SALC and are not satisfied with any aspect (such as the assessment process, the assessment documentation, or the assessor) we encourage you to first speak to the assessor or request to speak to the SALC Manager or Team Leader to discuss your concerns.
If you feel your concerns have not been addressed, or would prefer not to discuss them with a SALC team member, you can initiate an Assessment Appeal by completing the form below.
Lodging an assessment appeal
- Applications for an appeal must be received within 10 business days of completion of the assessment that is the subject of the appeal.
- Your application must include details of your course and clearly outline the reasons for your appeal; supporting information may be requested.
- All appeals are reviewed by a panel which includes VET training and assessment specialists.
Your message is being processed. This will take a few seconds.
You will be contacted within 5 business days to confirm this request.
